Chapter 4034 Leveraging Uniformity

This chapter is updated by Novels.pl

As the Boundless Light and the Reverend of Reckoning struck each other, Amare charged at him, closing the distance between them greatly as her palms surged forth with blinding speed and tremendous power.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH

Rui casually evaded the attacks, side-stepping each and every single one of her attacks as he smoothly evaded them with minimal movement. Despite the fact that her Realms of power were active and her raw speed was much greater, the much smaller movements allowed him to get out of the way of her attack.

Amare sharpened her eyes. 'Mind-Body Resonance.'

Rui's eyes lit up as her palm appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye, threatening to knock his head off. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The first blow of the battle had finally been struck upon Rui, causing his body to skid away across the soil of the Central Highlands of the Beast Domains. Rui's expression lit up with appreciation at Amare's power even as she charged at him with twice as much speed and power.

Her movements were different, fueled by even greater accuracy and precision of two minds working together, allowing her to unleash such powerful attacks that even Rui could effortlessly evade them with his self-imposed limitation.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!

Rui's arms flew together as he exerted himself to redirect or disperse her power, finding himself forced to confront her much more successful attacks.

The distance between them closed to less than a meter as she grew closer and closer. Because she preferred to rely on more sturdy blows such as palm thrusts, she had a shorter range, forcing her to shorten the distance between her and her opponent.

She was able to force Rui into a defensive draw for several reasons, but the largest reason was her mind-body resonance, as she called it. Amare had focused on harnessing her body-consciousness over the past few years, growing more and more adept at using its power.

But unlike Rui, she didn't use it merely to have an extra-mind steering the wheel; she used it to enhance her capacity for growth in training, using the experiences of the body-consciousness to see in techniques much faster than was possible otherwise, allowing her to grow in the middle of battle at a truly remarkable rate.

She grew better and better at straining Rui's defenses, forcing him to exert more power to defend himself. On top of that, she was somehow even stronger thanks to being able to tap into the 'muscle memory' of her body-consciousness, allowing her attacks to be even more powerful.

"You've truly grown stronger." Rui was impressed. "But this is not enough to beat me."

BANG

His fist buried deep into her solar plexus before she could even realize, causing her to gasp for air. Rui had used a portal to bypass her defense, a nifty trick that allowed him to take people off guard.

Just as he was about to launch another attack upon him, her teammates came to the rescue, emerging on either side of him, in a flash of light and with barreling fists.

And yet, that was far from enough to overwhelm him.

With a hand each, he gently redirected them like they were trickles of water, causing their attacks to harmlessly miss.

WHOOSH

"Tsk," Sage Jinryong gritted his teeth. "It's not going to be that easy."

The difficult part was that he couldn't see the order composing Rui's body for some reason. Rui had been using the Chaos Body technique that Supreme Commander Anthea had used against the Transcendent Candidate, impeding the man's perception order with a lot of chaos.

Bodhisattva Maitreyi returned to her corporeal form, realizing that in her light state, she was somehow even more vulnerable to him. She was unaccustomed to fighting in her normal form, as she had belatedly come to realize.

Her fists flew through to him, and yet, they couldn't so much as touch him. The two Martial Transcendents ganged up on him, trying to overwhelm him with attack after attack, and yet, Rui was able to smoothly evade each and every single one of their attacks. WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH

With the depth of his foresight and Autocorpus, it became impossible for them to even land a single blow.

Until Amare also joined in, teleporting behind him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

He barely managed to turn enough to block with his arms, negating the impact of her attack as it permeated through his body. Bodhisattva Maitreyi and the Reverend of Reckoning charged forth, exploiting the opportunity to get him while they could.

And yet, it was all in vain.

Time slowed down in his eyes as he delved deep into the future itself, plugging the Prophecy of the Void with the information of the information dimension.

It allowed him to gain as accurate a vision of the future as could have ever been possible.

BANG BANG BANG!

A single spinning kick that struck them before their attacks landed upon him flung them backwards, causing all of them to land a distance away, skidding on the ground.

"That was close."

Amare coughed, staring at him with knitted eyebrows. "You aren't even using your Transcendent power."

Rui smiled at her challengingly. "You can't force me to."

Those words irked her, causing her expression to grow more fierce as she led yet another charge at him. The three Martial Transcendents continued bombarding him with attacks.

But despite their combined power, they couldn't land a proper, clean blow on him. Rui defended, evaded, and redirected their attacks, eventually tiring them out until they had nothing left.

THUD

Amare collapsed flat on the ground, completely exhausted as she breathed heavily. The other two were also on the ground, drenched in sweat as they tried to catch their breath.

Rui, on the other hand, heaved a deep breath of the clean, fresh air of the central highlands of the Beast Domain, before turning to the three of them knowingly. "You did well, but you're still not quite up to the mark; you have yet to have your phenomenology uniform, and you don't actively tap into it in battles. It's not just enough to ponder the nature of the world. You must also try to use your enlightenment in battle."
