Chapter 2320: After the Birthday Party

I left for the world where the birthday party was held in the morning, but by the time I got back, it was already past noon. I guess the food and drinks from the party can count as lunch?

Thinking about the time I actually spent over there, it feels like three days passed, but everyone involved can bend that sort of thing however they want, and most of my time was just spent receiving presents, so I decided not to worry about it.

After setting up the photo with the magnification feature that I received, I didnt really have anything else to do, so I decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing.

I even took a nap during a break, so Im not tired at all, but I dont really feel like going out at this hour either. Maybe Ill just read a book and take it easy Oh, right. That gift I got from Canalis-san lets me watch movies, doesnt it?

If thats the case, might as well take advantage of it and watch something. When I pulled out the device I got from Canalis-san and touched it, a sci-fi-looking monitor floated up in the air.

It even seems to come with a help feature, so I gave it a quick read. Apparently, it can project onto the air or onto a wall, and I can freely adjust the size and volume.

It even has a function where, if I set a specific area, the sound from the movie wont leak outside of it. Thats incredibly thorough Ah, this movies one of the latest releases I can even watch movies that are still in theaters? Alright, Ill go with this one.

The movie I watched for the first time in a while was really good, so good that I ended up watching two in a row without meaning to, and by the time I noticed, it was already evening. This projector? Or terminal? Im not sure what I should call it, but its an amazing gift.

If I carry it around in my magic box, I can watch movies wherever I go, and it sounds like itd be fun to watch with my lovers or my friends too.

With such thoughts in mind, I headed to Lilia-sans dining room since it was about time for dinner. Basically, dinner here is eaten together with anyone whos available, including Lilia-san. Since today was the birthday party, everyone had probably cleared their schedules, so I had a feeling nearly everyone would be there, Aoi-chan, Hina-chan, and also my parents.

While I was on my way to the dining room, I happened to run into Nebula, so we made some small talk. For Nebula, meals arent necessary, its more of a personal preference. Shell sometimes have sweets with tea, but she almost never eats a full meal, so she usually doesnt join for dinner.

For a moment I tilted my head, wondering what she needed me for, but as soon as I heard her say that, it all clicked. Come to think of it, when she helped with the preparations in the morning, I vaguely remember her saying shed give me her gift later.

Of course, I dont mind making time at all, and now Ive got something to look forward to after dinner. I dont know what shes prepared, but if its from Nebula, Im sure itll be something great. I really am looking forward to it.

[I had a pleasant time as well. Id already contacted her in advance with Canalis-sans help, so everything went smoothly. The one who visited today was gentle and kind by nature, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself.]

Nebula has a sharp eye for people, so if she describes her as someone Id get along with, Im sure wed be a great match personality-wise. Id definitely like to meet her.
