Sitting side by side on the beach, watching the slowly setting sun sink into the horizon, I put my arm around Shiro-sans shoulder. After finishing the princess carry, we decided to go through with the situation Shiro-san had requested, just to fulfill her wish.

Of course, the chasing followed by an accidental stumble scenario was a bit too difficult to pull off, so we settled for the simpler one: sitting together and watching the sunset.

We had only changed the scenery to sunset mode, so not much actual time had passed, but still, the crimson sky and sea carried a certain wistful atmosphere.

Apparently, Shiro-san had removed my fatigue. It was only supposed to be a short nap, but my body felt as refreshed as if Id slept soundly through the entire night.

Id be receiving a mountain of presents from now on, so it was definitely a blessing to be in top physical and mental shape.

As I sat up and checked the time, I saw that there were about 7 minutes left until the break ended.

[Im glad to hear that. I was very happy as well, and Im satisfied.]

When the break first started, Shiro-san had seemed a bit displeased, saying it was unfair. But now, she looked completely content. Her expression hadnt changed dramatically, but the corners of her mouth were slightly more lifted than usual, enough that anyone, not just me, could tell she was in a good mood.

Huh? Thats odd. Shiro-san is clearly saying that out of pure goodwill, and her helping out shouldnt lead to anything weird So why is it that I can already picture Lilia-san clutching her stomach in pain?
