Chapter 1322: Using Wish to Chase Essence!

The God Lord spread out to cover the starry sky, his godhood power fully unleashed. It formed a terrifying power of wishes that influenced both natural and magical laws. It even allowed him to influence the star ring itself to a certain degree.

The external manifestation… was Xu Qing, who lurched to a halt. His soul immediately showed signs of decay. He slowed down dramatically. His life force seemed like it would start burning. Similar things happened to the chain binding the God Lord; cracks started to appear on it, as if it was also being damaged.

In the end, this god from the mother river was indeed a God Lord! That put him on the same level as Xu Qing’s canon and statute! Even though he was only here as a clone, with only a portion of his true god power, he was still extraordinary.

What was more, the authority of wishes actually surpassed that of karma, as it actually contained a bit of the power needed to trace something back to the essence. After all, a wish was not just a type of power among living things, it was also an integral component to the god cultivation system.

And yet, Xu Qing’s expression had not changed because of that. He simply looked a bit curious.

Keeping his eyes fixed on the God Lord, he calmly said, “The authority of wishes is something I studied in the past. It’s an amazing authority… with the ability to trace things back to their essence. Besides, I didn’t really want to reconstruct your godhood. I just wanted to lock you down and make sure you couldn’t escape. And then… I could use the essence of wishes to clear up some confusion.”

Xu Qing lifted his right hand and pointed at the God Lord.

Then he spoke, using a godly voice full of ancient meaning. “Golden Crow!”

The moment the words were spoken, the sea of gold and silver light seethed, and Xu Qing’s canon and statute tapped into the God Lord’s godhood, then activated the traceback power. When it reached the gold and silver sea, the cry of a golden crow pierced the void and emerged.

And then, from within that sea of light emerged… the dragon chariot from Xu Qing’s memories! There was also a giant, right in front of the chariot, pulling it up. It was a magnificent sight. The surroundings filled with natural music, beautiful and graceful.

Just barely visible within the chariot was a seated figure. The figure wore imperial robes and an imperial crown, and yet was no emperor. He was… a crown prince! He was none other than… Crown Prince Golden Crow of Brilliant Heaven, who had been willing to transform into a sun!

Xu Qing had used his canon and statute to reconstruct him, and was borrowing the authority of wishes to resurrect him from within space-time. Simultaneously, he was being given the mightiness of canon and statute.

The moment he appeared, the light of a golden crow erupted from the dragon chariot. At the same time, Crown Prince Golden Crow rose and took a step forward. He transformed… into the golden crow sun. And that sun shot directly toward the restrained God Lord!

Within that fog, it was just barely possible to see the shadow of a huge creature. It was just an outline, and it was very blurry, but it seemed very much like a God Paragon! Of course, it was not real. In fact, it didn’t even really count as a projection. It was more like a substructural phenomenon caused by an ancestral awakening within the taboo poison. It instantly spread toward the God Lord from the mother river.

The scene playing out caused Xu Qing’s expression to harden. Xu Qing had various clues and speculations regarding the origin of the taboo poison. But no research had provided any conclusive explanation. But now… after seeing that huge beast, Xu Qing got the answer he had always been looking for. Now I get it…

As Xu Qing experienced sudden enlightenment, the God Lord saw the beast in the mist of poison, and his heart pounded. That’s God Paragon Titan Spirit, or rather, the external godly authority of God Paragon Titan Spirit!

An intense sensation of imminent danger erupted within him. He wanted to break free or do something to stop what was happening, but couldn’t.

Xu Qing wasn’t paying attention to the God Lord. Instead, he was looking at the projection of the huge beast, his eyes narrowed.

Just like the Mother River, his machinations have reached Revered Ancient…

Those words caused the Moonrite Region in Revered Ancient to tremble. And in the starry sky over it, a crimson moon appeared that radiated a gruish scarlet glow. Within that moon, it was possible to see the image of Crimson Mother. The entity that had put such terrifying pressure on Xu Qing all those years ago was now nothing but a High God. That said, given Xu Qing’s canon and statute, he could bestow more levels on this god!

However, after being bolstered by Xu Qing’s canon and statute, something appeared behind the mountain. It was… an enormous black pagoda made of bronze!

When that bronze pagoda appeared, the will of a God Paragon became manifest. Xu Qing’s eyes glittered as he saw the true background of the Ghost Emperor mountain. Similar to the taboo poison, the entity behind the mountain was one of the Ninth Star Ring’s God Paragons, also unleashing machinations.

The God Lord from the mother river was overwhelmed with shock, and his godhood was starting to crack.

“You… you…” This God Lord could never have imagined that, on this day, he would see evidence of the machinations of so many terrifying entities.

He’s wrapped up in the machinations of multiple God Paragons… But why? Are the God Paragons targeting him for their machinations, or is he pulling them in?? And if this keeps going on, he won’t have to try to reconstruct my godhood. It won’t be able to take it!

The God Lord was trembling.

Meanwhile, Xu Qing’s emotions were astir, and his eyes were shining.

Xu Qing shone with dazzling light as the daybreak light he had gained enlightenment of shone forth. It swept out instantly in all directions.

But now, with the blessing of his canon and statute, he could see everything clearly. It was actually a 1/10,000 portion of a mysterious light worshiped by the Brilliant Heaven Godfolk! Tracing it back, it was actually the first ray of light to form in Revered Ancient.

The God Lord from the mother river wailed in agony. Cracking sounds echoed out from his godhood, and he felt more anxious than ever. He really wanted to break free.

Finally, something other than the machinations of a God Paragon!

A shriek rang out from the God Lord as the D-132 cell block appeared out of time. Figures could be seen inside all of the cells, including the painter, the brain, the stone lion, the scarecrow, the millstone, and the finger of a god. Beyond all that, there was something else very unique within D-132.

It was… the boy! He seemed to materialize out of a mist, and as he stood there blankly, the distant Revered Ancient mainland trembled. Destiny aura seethed! Xu Qing’s eyes glittered. As he knew, the boy in D-132 was actually destiny aura! Now, with the power of wishes, as well as the reconstructing powers of canon and statute, the boy was forming again!

“Not bad. But now… the most mysterious of them all!”

Some time ago, Xu Qing had acquired something in a necropolis, something with a very mysterious origin. As he had come to find out, successive generations of the imperial clan in Revered Ancient had all been looking for it. Supposedly, it contained the secret of how Revered Ancient had been formed!

“Now, with the power of wishes, I will see what secrets lay in this thing!”

Xu Qing’s eyes shone. The God Lord screamed. Xu Qing thrust out his hand.
