Sasuke opened his eyes, appearing in a different dimension filled with darkness.

"To think you, Uchiha Sasuke has improved your visual prowess to enter this dimension…" a huge voice boomed into existence scattering a chilly aura across Sasuke's soul.

"The Nine Tails," Sasuke commented from awe of seeing Kurama in his real form, as compared to the Chakra form that Naruto had unveiled in the forest, long time ago.

"Sasuke!" Naruto called out from behind Sasuke.

"Naruto," Sasuke uttered his comrade's name confidently without even seeing him.

"Sasuke, must you do this?" Naruto asked.

"Tell me the truth and I will stop this," Sasuke said.

"It's not the truth I'm worried about, but rather your reaction. Your revenge will just change to another form. You will not give up the idea of revenge. The past you, put us in a difficult position. I even had to plead the other kages and the world along with Kakashi sensei to pardon your actions. You went to the point of going against all the five kages. Do you understand how consumed with hatred you were? Sakura would have died if I hadn't protected her from you. You wouldn't even recognize wrong from the right if you were consumed with that amount of revenge." Naruto explained.

"I… almost… killed. Sakura? And went… against the five kages?" Sasuke asked slowly.

"Yes! The only reason the world had pardoned your actions was that only us from team seven were able to fight against the…" Naruto went silent at this point.

"What…" Sasuke asked.

"Doesn't matter, It's too soon for you to know. Sasuke, remember this… I'll always be your closest friend no matter what. I'll stop you from going down that path, no matter how many times I'm sent back into the past. Even if I were to spend my whole lifetime, or die trying, I'll always stop you from going down that path." Naruto said.

"…" Sasuke stood silently staring at Naruto.

"Sasuke, what Naruto says is correct. I may not be close to you even from that timeline, but I know to what ends Naruto will go to, to make sure you went step into that path again. Even your wife, Sakura planned to go down with you, should you have continued to descend that path." Kurama said.

"Why…?" Sasuke asked a single question.

"Why is it wrong for me to know why my mom and dad, my whole lineage was wiped? How will it affect the village? The entire world?" Sasuke asked.

"Sasuke, I had explained this in the forest of death before. When an Uchiha that knows love, loses it, the eyes awaken a new power which is fuelled by hatred,"

"Knowing the truth when you are unable to control your emotions will only bring bad consequences," Naruto explained.

"I DON'T CARE!!" Sasuke shouted following which ran towards Naruto.

"You leave me no choice…" Naruto murmured.

"Release Me!!!" Sasuke shouted.

"Fine!" Naruto's eyes transformed into the nine tail's eyes.

Kurama's roar, rang in Sasuke's head sending his psyche reeling back into reality.

(Bang!)

Sasuke fell on the patch of grass he stood on.

"Sasuke!" Sakura ran towards Sasuke.

"Sakura stay out of this!" Sasuke shouted.

"But Sasuke…" Sakura felt like her heart was being broken.

"Naruto, Use your sage mode!" Sasuke commanded, standing back up again armed with his sage mode.

Naruto frowned.

("It's ready,") Kurama commented from within Naruto's psyche.

Naruto gave Kurama an angry look.

("Do you still think Sasuke will sit down and listen to you?") Kurama asked.

Naruto closed his eyes

Orange Shades appeared over Naruto's eyelids securing his transformation into sage mode.

Sakura remained speechless. Seeing Naruto execute it was a little believable since there was the issue of his secret identity as the Seventh Hokage, but Sasuke was forcing his hand…

("Why doesn't Naruto spill about Itachi's secret? Why do they have to do this…") Sakura thought as she saw the duo face off against each other.

"Hmph, I knew you had it too," Sasuke smirked.

Naruto on the other hand was in his thoughts.

("It's a good thing he has this instead of the curse mark…") Naruto thought back to the time he had fought against Sasuke before he had finally left for Orochimaru. The curse mark was something that couldn't be voluntarily removed and would only fuel Sasuke's hate until it had consumed him to the point that Orochimaru would have emerged and taken over his body, and luckily that didn't happen in the previous timeline, or more like Itachi prevented it from happening.

Sasuke's gaze focused on Naruto.

Sasuke had disappeared!

"Where did he go?" Sakura was stunned. Meanwhile, Naruto's eyes were able to follow Sasuke's movements without missing a beat.

Sasuke's body agilely followed a zig-zag pattern as he tried to find an opportunity or a gap in Naruto's guard to attack him.

("He's fast") Naruto thought, following which he lowered a knee and brought his hand towards his right ankle and lifted one end of his orange track pant up.

Sasuke's eyes widened for a moment, followed by him gritting his teeth hard with an expression of intense hatred.

("Damn it!") Sasuke couldn't be more pissed off than he already was, and Naruto had just one-upped him again.

("Two can play at that game,") Naruto thought as he undid, his long-forgotten Weights!

That's right, Naruto had continued wearing training weights every single day finding it very useful to his rapidly growing body.

Sasuke thought he had landed a kick, only to see it being blocked by one of the training weights Naruto had held in his hand.

Sasuke couldn't take it anymore.

"AARGGHH!!!!"

Sasuke howled, unwilling to accept defeat.

(Whoosh!) It was Naruto's turn to disappear now.

Naruto moved all-around Sasuke, with Sasuke constantly panicking where Naruto could attack from.

Sasuke's Sharingan's ability to read had crossed his arms to block this kick from Naruto out of thin air, however, the force had overwhelmed him.

Sasuke backflipped a few meters away from the spot he stood in from inertia of the force from Naruto's kick. Crashing a few meters away, Sasuke had stabilized himself and landed on his knees.

Sasuke breathing heavily, squinted his eyes in frustration. Taking a deep breath he opened his eyes to stare at Naruto with hatred.

"I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE TO KILL YOU, I WILL FIND OUT THE TRUTH TODAY!" Sasuke shouted following which, he brought his left arm out.

A dangerously unstable orb of White Lightning danced in the palm of Sasuke's hand.

("Looks like we were always destined to have this kinda fight…") Naruto stared in disappointment at Sasuke gathering Chidori in his hand.

Naruto then raised his hand.

("Wind style RasenShuriken would probably damage his arms, I'll go with Rasengan then…") Naruto thought.

A massive ball of blue chakra orb started rotating in Naruto's hand.

Sasuke's eyes widened from seeing the sheer size of the Rasengan, however, he could only grit his teeth and steel himself to face it.

"Aaahhhh!!" Sasuke and Naruto screamed as they ran towards each other.

The two screamed out loud as they ran towards each other.

"SASUKE, NARUTO STOP!! PLEASE, DON'T DO IT!!" Sakura shouted as she ran towards the two of them.

(Poof!) A clone of Naruto appeared out of thin hair and stopped her.

"I'm sorry Sakura," Clone Naruto said holding Sakura back.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!" Sakura shouted seeing the two close in on each other from a distance.

("I'll retract this Rasengan when it consumes that Chidori and then pin him down…") Naruto thought.

("I WILL FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO ITACHI!") Sasuke declared as he kept charging towards Naruto.
